First Choice Calcium Bolus

Bolus contains calcium chloride for immediate release and calcium sulfate for sustained release.

Product is coated with a vegetable-based wax that allows for safety and ease of administration. Calcium chloride has the greatest ability to support blood calcium concentrations, with high calcium bioavailability and the ability to invoke acid response in the cow, mobilizing more of her own calcium stores

Directions for Use:
Give one bolus prior to or immediately following calving and an additional bolus 12-24 hours later. Repeat as necessary. Remove from individual package and administer with the rounded end facing the animal with a commercially available applicator. Do not use excessive force during administration. After administration, allow access to water.

Cautions:
For animal use only. Do not administer to down animals or animals unable to swallow. User assumes risk of handling contrary to instruction or under conditions not reasonably foreseeable. Do not administer broken boluses.
