Goff-Bol MAX is a unique formulation of Solanum glaucophyllum – a source of Vitamin D3 in the form of 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol-glycosides – as well as calcium sources with immediate and sustained release that together support normal blood calcium levels in freshening cows.
Given as one dose at calving, the Goff-Bol line of products are the only one time treatment that has been shown to help maintain blood calcium levels out to 96 hours.
Goff-Bol MAX has been formulated to contain enough calcium chloride to cause mild acidosis in the cow, eliminating the need for any pre-fresh rations or DCAD diets prepartum.

Dosage / Administration
Give one package of two boluses immediately following calving.
Open a bolus package and insert the two Goff-Bol MAX boluses into the Goff-Bol Applicator. Insert the bolus applicator into the back of the cow’s mouth and deposit the boluses, allowing the cow time to swallow. After administration allow access to water.
Precautions
For bovine use only. Use only as intended in the directions for use. Keep out of reach of pets and children.
Do not administer to down animals or animals that cannot swallow. Administering forcibly may result in serious injury or death of animal. Do not administer broken boluses. Do not administer more than one dose (2 boluses) to any cow.
Consult your nutritionist to formulate a diet low in potassium and phosphorus and high in magnesium.
